I would like to point out that the only reason I make the “Easyman” comment is because of one incredibly annoying (yet memorable) family on the sidelines of IMCdA in 2006 who were all wearing T-shirts with that stamped across the front, an shouting it every time I ran/biked by. I appreciate all of the spectators who are out there trying to motivate (I really do!), but I wanted to kill these people. As part of our marriage, I feel it is my obligation and duty to share this feeling with you. Hugs!

I’m with ya on hating the all out running time trials. I know I look all stupid trying to run fast too, so even if I am going fast-ish (haha..whatever) I feel like a mascot with it’s big mascot stomach.
I would rather do speed intervals on the bike any day. Because even if I’m not going very fast at least I have a cool looking bike, and that’s really all that matters.
BTW – I’ll run/bike/swim/whine with you anytime if you need company to get a workout done. You’re probably faster than me too, so that’ll make you feel better.
